Nail Care

Our Healthcare Asssistant can carry out basic nail care, including filing, nail cutting.  There is a charge for the service. 

Stop Smoking 

All Doctors provide one to one stop smoking advice and appropriate treatment.

NHS Health Checks

Everyone is at risk of develioping heart disease, stroke, diabetes or kidney disease.  The good news is that these conditions can often be prevented - even if you have a history of them in your family.  We offer free NHS Health Checks to help you be better prepared for the future and be more able to take steps to maintain or improve your health.

Minor Surgery

We offer a full range of minor surgry services from removal of skin tags and moles to sebaceous cysts.  Please see your Doctor to discuss.

Child Health

Our Health Visitor holds a weekly well baby clinic on Tuesday morning - 10am until 11:15.  There is no appointment needed and she will be able to advise you on all aspects of child care. We advise children’s health checks at different stages to assess your child’s progress and development as well as a review of immunisations against infectious diseases. You will be notified of your child’s need to attend. If you wish to see the Health Visitor at another time, either at the Surgery or at home, telephone 0121 486 4233 or ask at Reception

Antenatal Care

The Midwife holds a clinic at the Surgery, by appointment, every Wednesday.

Contraceptive Advice

We provide a full range of contraceptive services including the Pill, Injections and Condom. The Doctors are also able to fit Coils, Implanons both to our patients and patients from other surgeries.

Foot Care Service

We now offer a basic foot care service.This includes nail cutting,filing and an optional massage.Please enquire at reception

Travel Vaccines

We offer all vaccines except yellow fever. Please book with our practice nurse to discuss, preferably 6 weeks before travel. Some vaccines have a charge - we keep this as low as possible.  We also provide private prescriptions for malaria tablets

Spirometry

This is a simple lung test that can be done by blowing into the computer.  It can help diagnose a range of conditions including COPD. You are at risk of COPD if you are a smoker over the age of 40 years!

Warfarin

We provide warfarin monitoring and run clinics all day on Wednesdays
